NearDrone is a father-and-son content studio. We fly the drones, shoot the interiors, edit the video, and manage the social accounts — for real estate agents, STR operators, sports programs, and event producers across Georgia and the Gulf Coast.

Curtis runs point on client relationships, shoot logistics, and the business side of NearDrone. FAA Part 107 certified with experience across residential real estate, STR vacation rentals, and commercial properties. He's shot properties from North Georgia mountains to the Gulf Coast and knows what content actually moves listings and books guests.
When he's not behind a camera, he's building out the systems that keep turnaround fast and quality consistent — because a great shoot that takes two weeks to deliver doesn't help anyone.
Maddux Walters
Pilot · Videographer · Editor
Maddux handles drone operations, video production, and editing. He's the one in the field watching the light, timing the reveal shot, and making sure the footage is actually usable before packing up. FAA Part 107 certified and comfortable in the air from rooftop-level hover shots to 400-foot neighborhood context aerials.
His editing work is what takes raw drone footage and interior walkthroughs and turns them into content that stops the scroll — for listing platforms, social media, and everything in between.

We started NearDrone because we kept seeing the same problem: great properties with mediocre content. iPhone photos on Airbnb listings that could be any property anywhere. Real estate listings where the aerial shots looked like they were taken from a ladder. Sports programs with nothing to show recruits.
The equipment and expertise to do this right shouldn't be out of reach for a local STR operator or a high school athletic program. That's the gap we're filling — cinematic-quality content at a price that makes sense for the market it's serving.
What we bring to every shoot
FAA Part 107 Certified
Both operators hold FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificates — the required federal certification for commercial drone work in the US. We handle airspace authorization and LAANC approvals so you don't have to think about it.
4K Cinema-Grade Footage
We shoot 4K video and high-resolution stills on professional-grade camera systems. Every deliverable is edited and color-graded before it reaches you — not raw files dropped in a folder.
Fast Turnaround
Edited photo galleries in 24–48 hours. Full video edits in 3–5 business days. We know listing timelines are tight and that social content has a shelf life. We build our delivery schedules around that reality.

Based in Canton, GA, Tifton, GA, and Panama City Beach, FL. We know the light in each market, the airspace quirks, and the content that works for each audience. No out-of-town operator figuring it out on your dime.
